New for 2015 - Fundraising Award

Dear Team members

As we go into our 5th year of the Maine Event Battle on Ice charity hockey tournament, I would like to ask that all teams help by participating during this year in your own way of fundraising for the Shriners Hospitals for Children.  We will incorporate the teams fundraising dollars along with the money we raise and present all monies at the closing ceremony in January.  Each team can bring a check made out to the Shriners Hospitals for Children – Boston, and the Shriners Hospital and the Kora Temple in Lewiston will present the trophy for 2015 to the team who raised the most funds.  The IFPMWG committee wishes you success on your fund raising efforts and appreciate the opportunity to be able to present a much larger check to the Shriners than we have in the past, ($2500).  For every dollar that we all raise makes a difference in the lives of so many children who unfortunately suffer from a burn trauma or a much needed surgery such as a cleft lip operation.  We hope that you will join us on this year’s journey together to  help us raise a substantial amount of money  to present to the Shriners Hospital.  Thank you again and good luck.
